Akai Marje is a 20 year old singer/songwriter and model from Jacksonville, Florida. Akai started singing at the early age of 2 years old and modeling at 5. Akai has been known to captivate audiences while opening up for various national acts at local festivals and concerts.
Her professional career began to bloom in 2017 by doing popular song covers on Instagram. Akai then ventured into releasing original songs on soundcloud where she curated over fifty thousand plays independently. Akai is featured in interviews with Voyage Miami and Voyage Atlanta’s online magazine, was the centerfold artist for Void Magazine’s 2019 Art and Music issue and now has her first cover and 8-page spread with Jacksonville Magazine!
Akai says “I make music for the spirit and soul. I want people to be moved, touched and inspired truly when they hear my music. Many of my supporters tell me I have an “angelic” voice, so I pride myself on being a musical blessing (lol). All in all, I just want people to feel love in my music whether they can relate or not."
